House Staging FAQ (Vendors)

Most frequent questions and answers about house staging Perth

Integrated home staging is where we use all or some of your own furniture and bring in some of our own furniture and accessories.

We currently do not offer this service. We provide the best services when your home is vacant 🙂

Wait times currently vary between a few days and 2 weeks.

It really depends on the following things.

  1. When you enquire (what inventory is available for house staging) – a walk through will easily establish this.
  2. When you pay for your deposit. We only reserve furniture and plan for stages once deposit is received.

The easiest way to answer this question is you provide you an individual quote based on your home’s floor plan or a walk through of the property.

However, rates are typically between $2000 – up to $5000, with the average home staging I provide being around $2900.

This is called Occupied home staging and we do not offer this service currently. Your house needs to be vacant and free of occupants for the time it’s on market, with our furniture inside.

Our minimum hire period for house staging is 5 weeks. This allows 2 weeks on market, and between 2 and 4 home opens and private viewings between. Then you have 3 weeks for your buyer to arrange and have their home finance approved.

Most homes are under offer by the time the 5 week hire period expires. Removing the furniture depends on if you have a cash buyer (we would remove the furniture), or if your buyers are still obtaining finance.

Some vendors may like to extend the hire period a few days to safe guard on their buyers finance falling through.

In the unlikely event that your property is not under offer yet, you could extend your house staging hire period – which is provided on a refundable daily hire, or it can be extended for 4 weeks for the price of 3. Rarely does the vendor end up needing to do the latter.

A deposit of up to 50% is required to book your stage and reserve furniture for you.

The balance of your stage is due 5 business days prior to your stage, this is to allow us time to book removals and pack your stage.

We currently offer Humm Finance Buy Now Pay Later for staging for clients who are unable or do not wish to pay for our home staging service up front.

However, provided our business has met our minimum stages for the month, we do allow one vendor per money to pay out of settlement, currently. But this is providing the agent is one of our preferred agents (proven sales track record) etc.
